Good DDR3 Card, Be Careful Overclocking

This is a great DDR3 card with nice numbers. 4GB memory, and a 902Mhz core clock. I overclocked mine with the provided Zotac software to about 970Mhz, and it got so hot playing BeamNG you could smell it and the PC crashed, so I decided to put in a 120mm fan blowing over and under it, no more worries. If you can play that game on 'Normal' settings with any card available, it gets a thumbs up.

    • Beyond all expectations! Performance!

This video card has made my desktop a respectable gamer computer. Easy on the pocket book, easy installation, and easy to use drivers.I would recommend this to anyone that is looking for a great video card.

    • Graphics improvement.

It installed very easy, set-up was simple. Instructions were easy to follow. Improvement to the graphics was good, I was able to run programs like games that I was unable to before. Good product for the price.

    • Zotac GT 730

This replaced my GT 210 card that went belly up. The 730 has more memory and I hoped that would banish the scene change glitches of the older card. It did. The 1080 TV picture is excellent. But there are warts. I assumed all the GT Nvidia cards now had 'sound over HDMI' That doesn't work on this card (like it did on the other one) with my Mythtv software. I had to make other arrangements for 'sound out'

    • Decent replacement for onboard graphics

This was installed into my i5 HP Elite 8300 Convertible minitower tonight as a replacement for the Intel 2500 onboard graphics. I'm not a heavy gamer, but it did noticeably improve the few graphics intensive games that I do play. Installation was painless, popped it into the slot, put the cover back on the case, plugged the HDMI cable for my 27" monitor directly into the HDMI connector on the card, and it booted right up in low resolution VGA mode. Win7 Pro didn't find any drivers for it, so I installed the drivers from the included CD, then installed the latest from the Nvidia web site after that, and all is well at 1920 x 1080. It isn't as dramatic an improvement as I was expecting, but an improvement it is. Overall satisfied.
