Works great - once you figure it out
Comes with literally no instructions other than a diagram of how to plug it in. I had to go on YouTube to work out which app to use and where the settings were, even then it was a fiddle to get it up and running. Works brilliantly now it's set up, but what a load of messing about. They have about 6 pages of quick start up in different languages, just the diagram mind, and a massive warranty booklet with 967 or so languages, but no actual instructions. For those that are buying one, you need to go in settings, then general, then TV, then one guide, then follow all the prompts like are you using freeview or Sky etc, then put in your postcode - only then will it start searching for channels. The app you're looking for is Oneview. I'd have given it 5* as it works great, but I can imagine someone that doesn't use the Internet or Google much would have a real nightmare installing this. Would it be that hard for MS to add a slip of paper in? Go here, then here, then here and you're done. Also, you can't record TV, it says so in the description but it cunningly leaves out you need an external HD to do so. Seems ridiculous when my One has 600GB of free space but there you are, another layout if you want to record anything - luckily I don't but a few people may be disappointed when they realise. A cheap Seagate one is only about £20 for 500GB so it's not that bad.Verified purchase: YesCondition: New

Xbox One Digital TV tuner - Temperamental
The product is easy to use with a great interface but if the console is "always on" from settings, sometimes when you turn on the console for the tv it is "unable to locate tuner." Genuinely Worthwhile Accessory
Paying about £10 to turn your XBox One in to a digital tv tuner as well as a blu-ray player and games console is well worth it. OK, if you love Sky and really can't live without being able to record programmes to watch later it won't keep you happy. But if you've already got the Xbox One it's a genuinely good alternative to buying a Freeview or Freesat box which will cost alot more, particularly to include the ability to pause live tv which the XBox can do. I already used my XBox for watching on demand tv and Blu-rays so when we needed a new device to watch digital tv this made perfect sense.Verified purchase: YesCondition: New

A decent DVB tuner for the various linux boxes for cheap.
Its a good tuner for the various boxes running kodi+linux (*elec/osmc/etc). Pros: 1. Cheap 2. Known quality/quantity, and, relatively speaking, well-build. 3. No unknown revisions (as clones do) 4. Reasonably well supported on linux > 4.16 5. DVB-T/T2/C all supported 6. comes with a long usb cable, so no strain to usb port, and can be put out of the way. 7. Offc. it plays nicely with xbox too... Cons: No support under Windows (no driver) For the DIY crowd who likes tinkering and want to setup a tcheadend server its very good. Brilliant Sky replacement.
Absolutely excellent addition to my Xbox the only reason i didn't give 5 stars was due to xbox not supporting the recording of programmes. You can pause live TV though. I went with this option due to cancelling Sky and wanting to utilize the Xbox's audio processing for my surround sound. A great buy.

Ideal upgrade and money saver
The tuner on my 50", old gaming tv is on it's last legs and I was already researching it's replacement when I fortuitously remembered this little gadget. Saved me over £250, bargain, in my eyes. The only downside is that, as yet, I have been unable to reorder the channel list as it is not sorted numerically, ascending, but as they were discovered!
