Lots of Features. Hard to Clean.

Lots of different settings, easy to use, goes up to 450 degrees. Dehydrator is wonderful, especially for my fruit roll ups. The cook book has some great recipes. The only thing that stopped me from giving it a perfect 5 is that the basket, trays, and inner part of the door are hard to clean. From the first time I used them, they developed a brownish tint that's very difficult to get rid off, if at all possible. I have a Pinsoon Air Fyer that I still use to help cook large meals faster, and it's so much easier to clean. No need for heavy scrubbing as with the Cuisinart. The grease on my Pinsoon comes off almost immediately once I put water on it. Cuisinart could have done a better job at getting better quality materials.

    as described, kind of.

It cooks well. I included a photo of a 12 inch pizza without cheese. We do not eat cheese so we have become pretty good at this. Both sides are, of course from different pizzas. Both made exactly the same. Both cooked in the same make and style pan. Both using the same recipe both on convection (not air fry) Both same time and temp settings. These are kit pizzas and both followed the directions on the box. The dark one is this unit. The perfect one was cooked with the Breville oven I just repaired. (after 10 years the fan quit, an impossible repair but that is another story and why I bought this Cuisinart to start with). Like many reviewers say, this Cuisinart cooks hot. Not a deal breaker since it can be turned down. When the temp was turned down 50 degrees it performed like the Breville. Also, the ad says it cooks a 12 inch pizza and it does without a standard 12 1/2 inch pizza pan. a 12 1/4 inch pan will not fit. The inside must be exactly 12x12 inches. Not a big deal unless you have standard 12 1/2 inch diameter 12 inch pizza pans.

  • Ok but a little quirky.

So far it has done a good job on toast. The tips of some of the sweet potato fries got burned, so I will go for a lower temp next time, the package and directions on the oven said 400 degrees and at 350 the outside started burning before the inside was done.I think the middle rack should be lower. The timer on the oven doesn't seem to work like that on the toaster side. The toaster side turns off easy but it feels like the knob would break if I kept trying to force the oven side off so I just turn the heat all the way down. The instructions say not to put it under a cabinet, but all my counters have a cabinet over it so I put it in a corner so there is lots of space behind it. The instructions also say to unplug it after each use which is not good for the socket it plugs into so I leave it plugged in. I think they say that so if it fails and starts a fire they have an excuse. I think eventually it will be OK, it just has some quirks. It would be better if the control were all digital instead of mechanical.

  • Crispy Wings at Home At Last

I really like this little stove. Fits well in the kitchen and easy to use. The only reason I didn't give it 5 stars is because the oven's interior light burned out within the first few seconds I used it. Went online to check out how to replace it and saw that many others have had the same problem with the oven light. It also appears that the entire oven has to be taken apart to replace the bulb, so we won't be replacing it. I don't think it's enough of a problem to return the unit, because you can always open the door and peep in. Almost wish it didn't have that feature so I wouldn't miss it.

  • A great addition to any small kitchen

I love my little cookbot! I don't think I would have bought a standalone air fryer, but I've used that function a lot on this and it turns out hot, crispy food really fast. I've used it for brussels sprouts, tofu nuggets, frozen fries, and reheating chicken leftovers and I'm just really impressed by what it can do. Much better than the microwave. The toaster function is easy to use and doesn't overtoast. I also used the bake function to reheat pizza and it turned out perfect, much quicker than expected. For anyone with a small but busy kitchen, it's a great backup for the range when the oven is occupied. Easy to clean and looks great, while not taking up a ton of space.

  • Best toaster oven that is made. I have checked them all out. Light weight with great features.

Awesome toaster oven. I made a dutch apple pie in it. I just had to keep the baking temp down a little more than a regular oven. This fits a nine inch pie with no problem. I like the knobs to set for various things to cook. It fits on my counter top fine, not to heavy either. It arrived sooner then I thought it would too.

  • Very impressed.

I bought this for my daughter as I had one and she was jealous. I shopped around for this type of appliance for a while, and what ultimately sold me was the fact that there was little hot air escaping. I tried another brand and it felt as if I was standing in front of an electric heater. It's very versatile and preforms well whether air frying or baking. The only thing I'm disappointed with is the toaster function. It takes a looooonnngg time. If you can wait, it does a good job. I haven't found it hard to clean other than the baking sheet that comes with the unit. Always cover with aluminum foil or it will become a dark, ugly mess quickly. And this is my second unit for myself and one for my daughter; 3 units total so I must be pleased.

  • Good purchase, but watch the food as it cooks

This does a great job of air frying. I have "fried" french fries, chicken, shrimp, and vegetables. It works well with all of these. I have used it also as a broiler and a toaster and it does well with all of these. My one concern is how the temperature listed on the dial heats the food higher than any other toaster-oven I have used. I had to experiment with the temperature setting and watch the item in the oven to not burn. I am used to a toaster oven's heating elements being much closer to the food than a conventional oven, but this is more than I expected.

  • good oven for 2

Good performance for most needs. This is a smaller oven, which is fine for 2 people. It does cook very quickly. Even regular bake setting is much faster. You need to observe it and get used to the shorter baking times., I got it to use in the summer so the large gas oven I have won't need to be turned on. Air fry works well too. Toasting feature is the weak point. OK but not the greatest. Overall I am happy with the ease of use and performance.
