    Love It!

    I confess to being a rabid Dan Fan; SO... no surprise that I love this collection. It's billed as a greatest hits set from the Blue Thumb years. We can debate whether these are the very best of that period, but certainly, for one who loves Dan (and his "Lickmen" and the "Licketts) this is set very tasty indeed. Dan is gone, and truly no one has appeared who can carry forth the flame of his tongue-in-cheek, winkingly naughty, 1930s style, snazzy-jazzy guitar-based cozy musical arrangements quite like ole Dan. For me, the solution for this extreme dilemma has been to buy all the Dan I can find.... and play it often. He sounds as fresh as ever. I miss this guy! I love this collection!
