    Good espresso machine for the price

    Porta filter needs to be filled with coffee to brew properly (like most espresso machines) also, you need to release leftover pressure after frothing milk. This extra pressure has been causing water to flow into the drip tray after frothing milk. So, I run extra pressure out of the steam wand after cleaning the wand. I wish that the handle for the water reservoir would lift a little higher from the container. Just a little extra room would be nice.

    A tough call

    A veteran of several of these machines, a few thoughts come to mind. A) I've still never gotten one to last 90 days before it needed repair at a use rate of about 3 cups per day. B) When working it's the best foamy amazing coffee you'll ever make. C) They collect water in the tray for some reason, not a big problem to pour out. D), They are stylish and gleaming and programmable. E) Cuisinart customer service really isn't bad at all, I just wish we weren't on a first-name basis.

    Great IF everything would work.

    I suppose if I could afford to buy one of these "new", I wouldn't expect any trouble. I have only been able to get "refurbished" ones, so sometimes they don't work as they are supposed to. I sent one in for repairs to Cuisinart for repairs, and it was returned with a broken water container. They promptly apologized and sent me a new water container for free. While it was being repaired I ordered this one, and while it makes a great cup of espresso...it is impossible to "program" it. This is my third one and when everything works...it works great.

    Its messed up

    I got this espresso maker a few days ago (FEB 03 2016), and when I turn it on it will beep and blink til death. Finally when it stops I try to make a single , double or even manual serving it will stop after less than 1 once or more then all the rest of the water will empty in the tray below. I try to reset it as per the instructions (ok no problem with that fuction), but when you what to program it , it doesn't even give you enough time to click on the exact amount of brew that I want, then all serving lights start blinking again and that darn beeping . AHHHGGG Can you tell I'm frustrated?

    Love the push buttons!

    We love this new push button Cuisinart Espresso Maker! It is so much easier to use then the older model Cuisinart Espresso Maker. The only draw back is that it takes a bit longer to warm up to froth the milk. But out of all the great feature's this Espresso Maker has I would say it's the best out there right now! It's so easy to clean and wipe down that I think my 7 yr. old grandson can do it. It doesn't have any hidden holes or corners to get under or behind. Everything is right there in the open where you can see it. I honestly believe Cuisinart has out done themselves this time! Thank you Cuisinart and don't stop trying as I have hope in you!!
