On day 12 now. I'm having about the same luck as guy on the movie but in the end he came out a winner so I'm praying for the same outcome. It's hard to do some dates since my wife has left and not here but I try to do something by text or over the phone. I've read The love Dare day by day A Year of Devotions for Couples. It is a must have for every couple. I read it cover to cover in 12 days. I'm going day by day in it but I read the book and learned a lot. I wish I had it years ago then I wouldn't need this 40 day book. On day 12 now. Unfortunately, it’s an absolute bear to get through, requiring much more personal discipline to read than almost any other self-help book I’ve ever seen despite its deceptively easy appearance. I’ll bet it would be worth the effort if I could just get through it!

This book is very good for you. You learn a lot and bring you to realize things that you don't want face or believe about yourself. It will bring you closer to your spouse. There are ups and downs but at the end of the 40 days you see the great outcome. I have bought 4 of this books and gave them as gifts. That's how good they are. If you're looking for a book (other than the Bible, which I HIGHLY RECOMMEND that you use with the journal) to help with issues and struggling in your marriage, and you need help, but you're spouse won't go to a counselor with you, ask them to do the dares with you! If they agree, that's awesome, but if not, you working on it by yourself, the results of your labor to save your marriage will show! It's helping me in my marriage, it can help you with yours. Don't give up once you start it, because believe me, some days are going to be harder than others. Just keep a steady prayer life, talk to God and keep Him in the center of it ALL!
