Great Product
Works great and the headphones are so clear. It works best if you attach the I-pod to your goggles and wrap the ear-phone wire around the back of your ear and under your swim cap. I also sprung for the expensive $70.00 ear-buds, they were awful and I returned them! Although many people recommended the more expensive earphones and say that the earphones sold with this product are horrible I found just the opposite to be true. The additional, more expensive earbuds that I bought did not connect all the way and did not seem to work with this product as I only heard music out of one ear-bud and the sound sometimes eliminated voices all-together making a strange sound quality that was mostly back-up music. I suggest buy this product as is, it's a great price for I-pod and ear-phones. I found this product to be a great add to my swim. The add of music gives me that extra motivation and I can jam-out to a power work-out mix. I only downloaded 3 hours of music, but there is a ton of space remaining, I LOVE LOVE this product!!!!Verified purchase: YesCondition: New

I miss my old shuffle
I made a mistake and ordered the gen 4 to replace my gen 2. It does have more capacity, but does not have the ability to play my songs in order OR shuffle. I like to play my songs in the same order. Also it is a bit smaller so harder to open the clip for attaching. I should have gotten another generation 2. I really don’t need the GB.Verified purchase: YesCondition: New

Its a good product.
Its an easy product to use, and its a plus that it’s waterproof plus you can jog with it in bad rainy weather. The battery last a long time. And its super easy to use. Great product and value
Previously I had a waterproof mp3 player. I swim 5 days per week for an hour each day. The mp3 player just didnt work consistently. I got the ipod shuffle, waterproof after a friend told me about the quality she has with hers. I love its compact size, its lightweight but sturdy. The quality of the sound is excellent. The earbuds are great quality too. With the mp3 I had spent more money on a pr that would deliver more than muffled sounds. I love this product. I am not disappointed at all. I've been using this product for several years - they tend to last around 2 1/2 to three years - and I love it. I swim most days for an hour, and it makes that time fly. It can be very boring swimming laps in a pool, but listening to music and books on the iPod is a great way to exercise and enjoy it. Great for pool training
The controls are a little stiff compared to my old one which also had been waterproofed. The headphones are not great nor is the sound quality so have gone back to my old ones and also the wire is too short unless you are going to attach it to a swim cap,needs to be a few cm longer to attach to swim costume . The iPod itself is ok so far and with my old headphones it works fine . Love this compact iPod!
