    "Good but could have been great"

    The quality of the part and installation pieces seemed well enough...but...the two attachment bolts were way too long to be used on any flooring less than an inch thick. The bolts are unthreaded at least an inch down from the head, which means that a whole lot of bolt-space underneath the floor needs to be filled by dozen(s) of thick washers before the lock nuts have anything to snug up to. The "kit" should've come with shorter bolts for floors that are thinner - my aluminum floor is maybe 3/8" thick so those long bolts were useless. I went to my toolbox and found shorter bolts, which I hope were good quality bolts, because the quality of those bolts (tensile strength) is crucial to a hard-braking event with a heavy motorcycle in the chock.
