While the only communication between us was a message asking for lowest price and in our response we guided you to submit an offer, which we accepted, on a tool clearly marked "FOR PARTS ONLY" along with details about the issue. We don't understand calling the broken item clearly marked as so unusable junk, but we are trying to understand. So the parts you want can't be salvaged? We would have been happy to answer any question if you just asked.

    Best Trim Yet

    I have had 3 previous microwave and trim kits. The KitchenAid was junk, the other two were adequate. The Panasonic is made well with easy to install pieces.

    Difficult to iInstall

    The quality of the surround is good, but the installation method provided by Panasonic is terrible. Mounting points have to be perfectly placed or the system will not work. Ended up using four wood screws with plastic covers to mount the surround. In addition the space between the surround and microwave is excessive.

    I never install it........

    I never installed the unit because my cabinets wouldn't let me, I didn't design it properly so that I could use it. I'm going to sell it down the road.......

    Does the job but not the best kit to install.

    On the plus side, once the kit was installed (with modifications) it does the job and presents Ok. However, the installation instructions were terrible and the method of attaching the finish vented frame was impossible to implement without major cabinet modifications with the under engineered clips. Resorted to simply drilling 4 corner holes in the surround frame and attaching to cabinet with finish washers and phillips head screws....acceptable and functional but aesthetically, not the best. Compared with the Whirlpool microwave install kit which this kit replaced for the new Panasonic microwave, installation of the Whirlpool kit was far superior and cost was far less...this Panasonic kit is WAY overpriced for what it is!! So 3 stars for kit and 5 stars for the ebay supplier for their ...
