    Fish Life saving product

    Please note that I use ONLY fish flakes and this review pertains for that type of fish food. We had a week's planned vacation and were debating between this product and some 7-day fish "tablets" available on the market. After reading multiple reviews we decided to go with this product. We are SO GLAD that we chose this. It does EXACTLY what it is advertised. It has multiple feeding schedules and it word for the 6 days we were away. The best part is, if you top off the bin, you can feed for up to 6 weeks, which is phenomenal, if you were to ever go away that long. I very highly recommend this product to anyone who has a aquarium and needs to feed their fish if they were to go away on a vacation.

It seems to work when positioned properly on the tank, however, when programming it and operating the drum mechanism I have had it signal low battery and lose memory. Long-term usage will tell if this unit has come to me as problematic or not. It's used, what can I say? Vendors, please pull batteries out of items before shipping them.

    Works great for flake food.

    The good: Very versatile with the numerous timing settings available. Designed for flake food primarily. The bad: Mounting options not so good, not designed to dispense Algae wafer bits.
