      Well packaged and sent via express post (as I asked) ... received in time for Xmas. I did a quick test, and aside from the usual age-related things requiring repair, tape decks will need service. Being 40+ years old, the original belts have deteriorated into a sticky gooey mess, or they are broken/stretched. FM works in the tuner. Good cosmetic condition and as described. Seller very helpful and a pleasure to purchase from. A positive experience. Thanking you. A+++ :o)

      Repaired this one - new belts and rollers fitted in both tape decks as well as the motors replaced and the usual mechanical service (original motors were proven to be faulty and would run extremely slow/hot during operation). which included cleaning and lubricating gears/flywheels/pulleys. I also cleaned all the switches and controls. OK now and both decks run cool.
