great sound, wherever you want it
all the reviews were right--this speaker sounds really good across the spectrum. the really great and unique feature about this speaker is that it can pair with up to 8 devices and will automatically join to whichever one is turned on and set to play something. switching is really easy too, just turn on the next paired device and click play; it replaces the one that was playing. there's also an audible warning to charge battery, which is also unique. love this speaker, and have used it to simplify my old, complex wired home speakers.Verified purchase: YesCondition: Pre-owned

This speaker has good sound quality in my opinion. The design for the charging cable to plug in the back was a bad decision. The cable can be easily bent, and the charging end will break. BOSE IS THE BEST!!
This could easily be the best purchase I've made in a long time. I didn't realize how much I would use this when I bought it, but I use it practically every day. The quality of the sound that comes from this small speaker makes you want to listen to it ALL THE TIME. It holds a charge for a really long time (apx 6-8 hrs). When it loses it's charge you just plug it in and it plays while it recharges. The blue tooth connectivity is so simple that it practically connects itself. Anyone could figure it out in a matter of seconds. The only drawback was the charger. It doesn't seem to fit the speaker well. It's really lose and so the charging starts and stops. This was, however, a ridiculously easy fix. It uses the same charger/cable as any android device, kindle, etc. Like most people, I had a few extra to choose from and they all fit perfectly for an uninterrupted charge. This speaker functions very well. Pairing devices is simple and quick. Sound quality is typical of Bose, very good. It's portability is very good and battery life is good. I use it all of the time and have not been disappointed. This is the second one that I've purchased having had such a good experience with the first one. I am so extremely happy, that I bought some for my friends. I can listen to it from anywhere from my cell phone. My son brought his way up north, where he goes white water rafting, in Maine. An old lady didn't even know she could listen to her favorite music, thru her cell phone, to her bose. My twin brother took mine home with him, so I had to buy another. there's more, but I won't bore you. The best thing about this product, is I don't have to buy CDs any more. and neither do my grandsons. The best feature, is you just charge it with your cell phone cord.
