A fun fixer-upper
I purchased this mouse to repair and refurbish, but ended up liking it too much to sell. Razer's proprietary switches are easily replaced with off-the-shelf blue switches, and the familiar design of a Razer mouse is hard to beat. After a bit of soldering work, this mouse has the durability of a SteelSeries mouse with all of the design features and software support of a Razer. Given the low price of components and non-working units, a secondhand mouse like this can make for a fun and rewarding DIY project that will yield a durable and comfortable gaming mouse.Verified purchase: Yes

Great Product
Fast shipping and good value, but the mouse randomly turned off and on at first. I was able to fix it through hours of troubleshooting and playing around with the settings. It was really complicated for me to do but I was able to fix it by uninstalling and reinstalling the drivers and Razer Synaps. Perfect size for palm grip, lightweight, all around gaming
Great mouse for people either on a budget, but want quality, and use a palm grip on their mouse. I don't think a claw-style grip would be good on this as it's a bit too large. For me though I like the larger size of it so my whole hand can rest on it. The DPI switches can be a little annoying sometimes as I mainly like to stay on the same DPI all the time, and I can probably turn it off with Razer Synapse but I haven't installed it, and isn't necessary.

The DeathAdder Elite is the perfect mouse for my palm grip. Its comfortable and feels like it's made from quality materials. The rubbery side grips provide traction for better control in any setting. Another awesome feature is that your computer can control the RGB lights. It's not too heavy, which improves its maneuverability The final touch of the braided cable to allow better cable management is unexpected value. This is an awesome mouse for gaming and everyday use.

Huge difference
I can only compare this mouse to your standard generic, everyday average mouse which is what I was using for gaming, specifically BF4. I was amazed at how much more responsive this mouse is than a standard "office type" of mouse. And the extra programmable buttons are a really nice "extra". On Day 1 and 2, it felt large/long, and a bit uncomfortable. But after a couple of days, I realized my hands felt better than using my old mouse, which was a bad size for my hands. I wanted this mouse for nearly a year, and now that I've got it and thoroughly tested it, I can say that it's Perfect. This is 100% original, brand new Razer mouse, Synapse and Chroma apps are completely supported, the mouse is really comfy in hand, and it's gorgeous in gaming. The only tiny minus I've found was that the serial number wasn't recognized in Razerzone web, but the seller specified it on the page, and that's just an observation since it doesn't change anything.
