The background color around the swirls is this beautiful eye catching copper color. It arrived in perfect condition (even though over oiled) so it MUST have been packaged well. Came quicker than a groom on his...well...L.O.L. I HIGHLY recommend this big beautiful knife except (WHY make knives with TWO PERSONALITIES? put the same stuff on BOTH sides). Any hewwwwww, I HIGHLY recommend BOTH sides of this knife AND Sixleaf store!!! :-)
