Wonderful 4K dvd series overall with one negative for me.

Great 4K DVD enjoyed every minute of the series but put off by the "new green deal" agenda. The little episode that involved a Q&A about the solution to the climate change is going to wind and solar for our energy needs did it for me. Anyone who has spent sometime reading about the abilities (or lack there of) wind and solar meeting our energy needs is going to know this is ignorance on full display. The only country to get off dependence on oil and natural gas are the French. The used wind and solar as far as it would take them but the vast majority of their energy came for Nuclear power.

  • Awesome presentation and excellent photography/filmmaking detail

I enjoy all of David Attenborough's special video presentations on the earth and its' resources, and this UHD video is masterfully photographed and produced. The new UHD player recently added to our home theatre plays beautifully and with outstanding resolution on our 4K 75" tv, boasting HDR and DolbyVision in all its glory.

  • Great documentary if you like ocean creatures

I'm a fan of nature documentaries. The Planet Earth series are good as well but I believe this set has them beat and I'm only 1/3 of the way through.

  • Entertaining for the whole family

The photography is great. Narration is excellent. It gets a little preachy about environmental issues but that come with the territory.

  • MUST SEE if you enjoy sea life!

4K HDR is next best thing to seeing these spectacular sights first hand! Like all BBC nature films, they present a narrative many might not entirely buy in to. But it's clear their passion is to preserve these great treasuses, something most everyone does buy in to. So for me anyway, that laudible goal completely overshadows any detail presented on which I might hold a different view, allowing for a very engaging and entertaining viewing experience. Five stars all the way IMO!
