For the true Bears or NFL fan
I was surprised to find that this set has become a collectors item. A sealed set can cost you from $500-$800. An Open sat can run anywhere from 250 to 450. Amazing for an item that cost $59.85 when it was released. The set does not include the entire season. Due to deterioration only 12 master tapes of the games remain. Seven of the games have deteriorated so badly that they were unable to process them for the set. Very sad. Whether you are a Bears fan or not, it is remarkable to watch the greatest defense of all time. They swarm, rock, attack and overwhelm opposing offices. As you watch from the first game of the season you can see how the team eventually came together to dominate. It may not be the greatest value due to the price but it is unquestionably entertaining and the characters are once in a lifetime!
