    Terrific zoom lens

    I thought this lens would be a great size to take photos at a car show and shine, especially when cars are parked so close to each other. I used it over Easter and it was exactly what I wanted especially with so many people around. Great for wide angle pics also.

    I have found this lens to be a great general purpose lens. I think it is a good match with the Nikon D700. I was apprehensive to purchase this lens, as I found quite a few negative reviews on it. I'm very glad I took the chance with it, it's working great with my D700. Getting nice results with macro extension tubes also.
