    Great camera with lots of nice features and easy to set up.

    I did a lot of research before choosing a dash camera and this one was one of the cameras that kept coming up as a really good one, and it is. Very easy to set up and the menu is much easier to navigate than other dash cams I have had. I love the way it attaches to the windshield mount with a really strong magnet, but is easy to just pop off when I do not want to leave in the vehicle. Nice and compact so it tucks nicely behind the rear view mirror. I also love that other modules can be added later on such as a rear facing camera. This camera has tons of great features such as Alexa built in, and the most important feature to me is the SOS that can be set up to alert emergency personnel should a crash occur and would not be able to call for help. I have not had this camera very long, but so far I like it very much.

    Verify micro SD rating

    When I first got it, it gave me an error saying my SD card was not good enough, so I went to buy a U1 micro SD. Then a couple days later when the rear camera attachment arrived it said the U1 was no longer sufficient and I had to go purchase a U3. I wish it had been more readily available at time of purchase what Micro SD card was required. The app is also buggy and periodically crashes the dashcam. And yeah that's right, the app doesn't crash the app, but crashes the dashcam. So I just don't use the app. Other than that the camera works well. Very clear video with great field of view and love the parking mode that comes alive after the car shakes or gets bumped. Interface is clean and simple.

    Awesome Dash Camera & Rear Window Camera (522GW)

    I have had several different dash cams in the past and once I read into the PRO's & CON's of the NextBase 522GW, I found very little if any CON's of this dash cam. I just installed it myself yesterday and so far the unit (plus the rear window camera) work as described. No complaints thus far. I do have a technical question regarding viewing of the rear window camera and the 522GW front camera and will call the tech support.

    After setting it up, I'm very pleased with all its features and cool stuff the camera offers. Very simple to set up, no hard wire required, plug and play ready to go. Highly recommend! You can view live recordings on your phone via the APP and save files automatically. Camera deletes oldest files automatically to make room for new recordings, awesome feature 👏

    Great features for the money!

    Using an Android phone syncing with the Alexa app was challenging. I ended up uninstalling Alexa and reinstalling which allowed Alexa to recognize the Nextbase. The next hurdle was turning on my Android's Smart Network Switch so that I could connect via my phone's WiFi. I am a happy camper!!!
