Simply the Best & cutting out the bad bits!
These are totally Awesome! I am so happy that I purchased these! Works GREAT for many of my needs and projects for my experiments and inventions that I am working on. I recommend them, and I recommend that you make a cutting guide to start the bits into different surfaces. Example; I cut holes into a thin 1/4" piece of Luan and then I clamp it over the surface that I'm going to be drilling into. This both protects the surface, but it guides the bit into the surface without the need for a center pilot drill and the bit does not ride around on the cutting surface! Hopefully this makes sense to you! I really recommend getting as many different sizes as you can afford because you will find that you will eliminate many of your old style bits. 2 inch holesaw bit works pretty well. Only had to make 2-2 inch holes in some pretty hard floor tile. Took about 2 minutes per hole which is average.
