    Doesn't work in odd application

    I used one of these 1600W 220 to 110 voltage converters to power a 110V 14W LED bulb on a 220V Grizzly Extreme bandsaw so that I wouldn't have to run a separate 110V line for the bulb. The bulb was at full brightness but cut to about half power when I turned on the motor. Since this is a solid state device (not a transformer) it may be susceptible to voltage variations or phase shifts.

    Power voltage step down converter

    package was opened prior to my receiving, I suspect someone else already returned it before me. Package had a piece of tape around it to hold it to backing. I bought to make coffee when I traveled, but to my dissatisfaction it did not work. JUNK.... A total waste of money, and since I am now away from the U.S. for a while, I am not able to return. I will not give it even one star. It is useless. NO, I WILL NOT RECOMMED! 0 STARS
