These were the first high bass ear buds I bought two or so years ago. I am very happy with my purchases as far as sound. The reason I said buy 2 is that where it plugs in to the phone they always seem to short out thete. I wear them to work so Im sure that speeds up their death. For the little over $3 I pay for them its well worth getting a few pair . I would estimate that I've owned 6 to 7 pair in the past 2 yrs So I've only got $25 tied up in them . You can't beat that for 2 years of music. They're coming from China so expect to wait about 3 weeks for them. Also they are great for when the wife wants to argue . Can't hear a thing . All you see is lips moving and hands on hips. Can't say enough about how great that is . Serenity.... Hope this helps

Quality has most likely suffered because of the low price of this product, but if you don't really care about bass or anything, this is a low cost alternative if you really need earbuds. Pros: - They come with a useful small box to keep them in which reduces the chance of the wires getting tangled. - Very affordable. Cons: - The sound seems a bit "distant", as if there was a lot of treble. - There isn't really much bass. - Not very good seal in the ear, might be because of the shape.

I purchased these headphones on a whim and I was NOT disappointed. They pack a punch, fit well (I changed the little rubber bits to the smallest size) and stay in your ears quite well. The case that comes in the package holds various sizes of earbuds. One small note: the pre-installed buds are a see-through grey, whereas the loose ones are a simple black. Not a big deal, really. My favorite thing about these headphones has to be that you can distinguish from right and left earbud based on feel alone. May not seem like a big deal, but I value the feel of surround sound. Left, right, both... You get it. Ha. What you should know: -generally sold at a low price ($5-$10) -high quality sound -very decent bass -durable cord and jack -stays in ear

I've had a pair of HAFX1X headphones for several years. The price on them has only gone up. So I saw a great deal and jumped on it. Well, you get what you pay for. The first thing I noticed what that I managed to poke my finger on the XX labeling on the case. The letters are not uniform in depth like on my original, and they're much deeper (see photo), creating sharp points in the cover. The plastic also has a more brittle feel to it. Comparing the earbuds visually, these look almost perfect... practically identical to my originals. But upon closer inspection, some differences become apparent. The rubber used for the red wire cover has a more "grippy" feel than on my original earbuds, and it's a lighter almost-orange hue of red, and the in-ear "bell" covers are also a bit of a translucent gray rather than a near-black (see photo). Taking those off, I could see that while my original, authentic earbuds have an almost "furry" look to the driver cover, these ones have more of a "grid" appearance (see photo). The molding of the plastic on these earbuds is also of shoddier workmanship and has little bits of excess in various places (see photo). And another missing detail is the little nub on the base of the left earbud's black "stem." It is absent from these ones (see photo). In addition to the cosmetic differences, the big kicker is the sound quality. The audio is muffled and scratchy by comparison, and the cable is of poor quality. It cuts out with the slightest movement. BOTTOM LINE: I got my money back, so no big loss other than time. I'd just as soon not bother with counterfeit products, though.Read full review

Bought these for my son because they advertised a great bass sound. He loved them and wore them for weeks. He left them in his clothes while washing and still they worked well. The only problem is he's rough on things and the wire frayed one and cracked day leaving only one side working with a very low volume. I looked at it to see if I could fix it. (I buy him ear buds regularly) Well that didn't work. The wires are so fine they are almost impossible to fix unless you replace the entire wire. That wasn't going to happen. At $15 I was not happy, so I looked for another one. My son is always bragging about Skull candy ear buds. They are expensive but they sell a lower priced pair called Jib ear buds at half the price of these. (you might have to research till you find the best price) That did the trick. He's happy again. The skull candy jibs are smaller, sound great and so far they have outlasted the JVC ones. We're totally happy now. If you're hard on things this may not be the one for you, but if you're not the JVC xtreme xplosives have an exaggerated bass and look cool too. For those who like that you might want to get yourself a pair. Thanks for reading!Read full review
