This is a monster of a scanner. Bigger and heavier than I though it would be with and automatic feed attachment attached. Pick this one up used and it looks practically unused. Scans super fast and works well with on Windows 7. This is more scanner than most people need. It even auto feeds up to A3 in Duplex! As good or better than most copy machine flatbed Scanners.(except the lack of printer) Only got this today but my only complaint would be the design of where the door opens. Scanning books in across works well but if its longer than A3 (around 12.7inches) you'll want to scan it the other way around to make use of the 17+ inches of width. The door kinda gets in the way. A somewhat minor annoyance and that's why I only gave 4 stars. Scanner is still great for music and art work!
While not currently state of the art, it does a great job and at a few hundred dollars is much more affordable than the new Epson 20000 version at over a thousand. It does a great job and is simply to use. I love the ADF and know that it would have saved me a great deal of time in the past. A quality used item is hard to beat.
I decided to buy this product based off of price, quality, and company name. To me Epson is probably the best when it comes to scanners and to be able to get my hand on a GT 15000 for the price I did was just fantastic. I'm an artist; so to be able to get a scanner of this size and quality is just great. The scanner has great resolution options, the bed is big enough for double to triple scans at a time and is just the artist dream. Great product and I hope people invest in one.
It works beautifully and saves me SO much time. Great product, great price, good service.
