I gave this target 4 stars simply because it isn’t built to the same level as more expensive types. However, with that said, it is a decent target and stops arrows like it should. The legs are just plastic, so when an arrow hits them it is a pain to get them out. My son shoots this target as well and sometimes he struggles to pull his arrows out of the legs (he’s 7). The front leg is also very fragile where it attaches to the body.

Deers face is like a animation of deer on cartoon open season it looks funny from the front plus size of a fawns head ..I'm not crazy about the legs being plastic either cause if my kid shoots a lil low then he's prolly ruint a arrow. Target is kinda thin horns are great quality tho . spend a few more $ and get the McKenzie or rinhart.

I had been out of the archery circuit for about 10 yrs. The older model McKenzie and delta targets got this one beat bad. What two things I really didn't like was the thickness of the target and the legs are plastic. So if you have a roaming low shot you prolly done ruined a good arrow or expensive broadhead. Also the face is really small like the size of a fawn head. The thickness of the target is very thin made to wear out quicker if shot a lot your arrows will be behind the target especially shooting a crossbow. This is a decent target for youth and bows under 300 fps. I couldn't believe the great reviews I seen on this target. Just saying the old school 3d targets you could shoot it for years and never have to replace the core. I would call this a 2d target because over the back its really thin and tree stand shooting better look at something else in the McKenzie line or delta.Read full review

This target proves you get what you pay for. This target is not one that is going to stand up to a active shooter. The legs are plastic. One low arrow and you'll have a legless deer. Vital zone is small and shaped like a cone. If you want to shoot quartering shots or angled shots out of a treestand this is also not a good target to use. You have a modern bow you probably dont want to use blast straight through the target. My advice is less than 50# draw wieght and small womens or youth bow would work ok with this target. Otherwise invest a little more money and get a target that will last.

Tue target size is great but the rear legs and target center would not fit flush to the top of the rear leg body or target flush with deer body. Great price so I'll live with it.
