    As close as you can get to Telefunken.

    Simply put these tubes are made with the old Telefunken tooling and materials. As of recent they are hard to find, due to inconsistency in the politics and workforce of the factories of the region, production has been halted and remaining stock is rare. I used a quartet of these EL84 6bq5 tubes as direct replacement in a real 1965 Vox AC30 candy panel amplifier. They were three dimensional in tone and fat and compressed when driven. If you are looking for an authentic sound from the 1960's these are the closest tube to a time machine. Recommended.
