I purchased this for my fiance for Christmas. The value for the money was awesome! I went out to the a local mall in Indy and was surprised that bottles half the size of this one cost more money! The item, well it's Drakkar, so that speaks for itself. It's my opinion that Drakkar is one of the best men's fragrances available. So many other fragrances are smelled before the person even gets into the room. They smell to heavy and knock you over. Drakkar doesn't do this. It's strong enough for a man to wear, but not so strong you want to put distance between yourself and the person wearing it!

I didn't get what I ordered. I got Hugo Boss instead. I wanted what I ordered but my husband quickly thru out the box I got it in....there was no packing slip included he said...and he just figured we were stuck with what we ordered. I tried to see about working this out but I had to send a pic of what we got in place of what we ordered and also of the box it came in. So that was ruined because my husband takes the trash to the dump once a week and he had already took the box out to the dump. So we are stuck with the HUGO BOSS.

Drakkar Noir (1982 by Pierre Wargnye) is a must-have cologne for the vintage lover but it's also one of those fragrances that are accepted and beloved at any time by the mainstream as well. The notes speak of classic men's colognes from a time even before the 80's. Like with so many 80's fragrances, this has praiseworthy sillage and longevity. It's on you for hours and it can be a bit of a beast if you spray too much which one should never do anyways. Just two spritzes on your chest, or neck, collar of your shirt, or your wrists, is enough. A little goes a long way. You will definitely get nasal attention of others wearing this. Drakkar Noir is not a shy boy but a confident man.
