    A Very Good Spare ....excellent value ... 10/10 .

    Very Well Made ... and very pleased with it .... Should work with my chinese 936 Solders Station ... after I replace the connector ! ... but this iron is needed for a spare replacement , for a redundant solder station , so I have a little design work to do ...

    Beware!

    This is a good product with a fast heat up time and temperature probe build in. It will not work with the Precision Gold A55KJ soldering station sold by Maplin, unfortunately. This was my intended use so for me it's a disappointment. By rewiring the connectionsI managed to get it to heat up but the temperature control was still not operative. There must be a station out there it is designed for in which case it's probably a good buy, but don't buy it as a replacement for the Maplin soldering station.
