    It does what it says and is not a disappointment. I feel it is secure when closed as no space is left. It did rather surprise me that there was an import duty and Royal Mail charge of over £30. I will carefully consider before buying from Australia again.

    AXA remote window opener

    I bought two of these and then chose a Windows company to install them. Originally I had very high fixed windows but now they've been replaced with hopper windows that open and close at the press of a button. I love them! The windows are too high to open manually - which is why the original windows were fixed - but the AXA remote system makes it easy to operate them. In Summer, the hot air now has somewhere to escape and I'll be saving on electricity, plus the batteries only need to be replaced once a year.

    AXA Remote 2.0 Wireless Window Opener

    Installation instructions are clear. Screws are too long to hold the brackets; risk of punching through the window frames. Screw template is a very good idea. The mechanism is a bit too slow in movement and loud.

    Google it and read the specs It’s suitable only for smaller windows It only opens maximum 13cm And it’s very slow Very slow So if you are ok with all of that then it’s great Does exactly as advertised

    Too Short, Very noisy

    The winder chain is only 120mm long. For an awning window, this is nowhere near enough to allow airflow at the sides of the window. The opener is extremely noisy. Will update review once used for a bit
