    Shimano brake cables, dependable quality.

    An excellent cable replacement set for your road bike. The set comes complete with end caps and pinch caps to stop the braided cable from unravelling. I'd recommend a good pair of pliers or preferably tin snips to cut the cable and the cable sheath to length, and then a flat file to smooth the cut ends. It's not rocket science and the job only took me half an hour to replace everything and get the brakes set up. Recommended.

    The outer cables are a very stiff casing...

    The outer cables are a very stiff casing and I could'nt use it under the handlebar tape as the friction was too high, ended up using a Jagwire casing. Inner cables are good quality.

    Compressionless SLR outer cable and stainless steel inner cable. What's not to like? Brilliant feel at the brake lever. No sponginess. Even with a long run of the outer cable to the rear brake.

    Complete braking set.

    The Shimano brake cable set solved my very loose braking once installed. Literally just swap the cable and brake sensitivity and fast stopping is returned.
