Because my 2012 Mac Mini can be upgraded to 16 gigs I memory I looked on line to find a good deal on memory for my computer. The Crucial memory was the best price. I was hoping it would work well. Because I have a regular HD the computer does not start up any faster but where I found my best performance boost is with PhotoShop. In the past it close to a minute for it to start up. Now PS loads almost instantly. What a pleasant surprise. The first start up still takes a bit of time but if I do not turn my computer off, but do want to start PS back up it is open in an instant. I can not be happier.

So this review is about the Crucial Ram and not my NAZ I have bought Crucial products for years so I was not worried about this purchase. I bought the Crucial 16GB Kit 2x 8GB DDR3 DDR3L 1600 MHz PC3-12800 Sodimm Memory for my new QNAP TS-251+ NAS on advice I read on QNAP blog. Users were stating that even tho QNAP says 8gig was the limit. I installed it today and all 16gigs are registerd and my NAZ has lighting speed. I saved hundreds by upgrading the ram myself, plus I could not of bought this NAZ with 16gigs any way....

Apple has always put in less RAM than needed, except for light browsing, email, etc. Now, they solder in the minimum to get by with whatever OS is available and don't allow upgrading to suit one's actual needs, so you have to have third party applications that flush RAM and do it regularly. This is why I bought this RAM to upgrade an older machine I bought for my needs. I trust Crucial RAM.

I was experiencing crashes out on Windows 10 regularly before I upgraded to the larger memory size. My computer boots much faster and is less prone to crashes than before.

Was looking to upgrade not only my Hard drives on my HP Envy DV7 (i7-3630qm) but also the memory. My system is setup with dual 500gb Crucial SSD drives and 16GB of Crucial Memory on Windows 10 and I must say it runs better than a brand new machine. Memory upgrade was well worth the cost vs buying a new machine. Near instant start up and my DJ applications (Serato DJ and Traktor) run flawlessly.
