I bought this watch on a whim, it was priced very low and it looked interesting. I was really surprised when I got it. The case has a really unique shape with a fairly high quality finish, imo, in a combination of high polish and brushed steel. The band compliments the blue dial, which are both a really deep blue. It has kept excellent time, the movement(2 different ones are speced) seems solid with the smoothest seconds hand I've seen. I think this watch is a unique value and probably really overlooked by most people, if you get it at the right price. The MSRP of over a thousand is worth it for the quality of the watch, however I would buy other watches in that 1000+ range. But only because I'm a brand snob... the only negatives are it's a little thick, but that gives the watch a definite presence on your arm. Also when I first put it on, it was not comfortable at all, to the point I thought I wasn't gonna wear it. But I broke it in, and after a day or two wearing it around the house, it wears very nice. I think it was the new stiff leather band, which has a great clasp and cool blue finish, by the way... I put mine on a thick brown suede band with some deep blue stitching and it looks great. Even the missus, who hates my addiction, commented on the look. Take a chance on something different, I wasnt disappointed.Read full review

First impression: It is definitely a dress watch, the blue color of the dial is unlike anything else I have seen, it is beautiful! The head is heavy for an 11 mm thick case, it has some heft to it, (heavier that the longines hydro conquest 39mm with the bracelet) The hands and applied markers are both polished. The Polished & brushed case is very interesting, many facets and levels. It is a cushion style reminiscent of the 60's and 70's where this watch got its inspiration from. It has been said that this case has some subliminal famous Bulova tuning fork through out the watch, for example from any of the four sides you can make out the fork shape. The sides are brushed, followed by a polished top, and then brush on the next level up, then the bezel is polished. The case back is screwed down. The bezel is also polished, after having it for one week, and not having put a mark on it, I'm impressed! Of course I'm very careful with my watches. The watch wears like a 40 mm watch. The hands are baton style, the have a polished finished , they also have Lume. The second hand is very simple, but with this classic design, it goes perfectly and makes the sweeping look so much smoother! The crystal is a domed Saphire crystal, very clear, it makes the dial pop! It is raised over the bezel. With a unreflective coating. Which makes the dial readable from any angle The dial is an electric sunburst blue. It pops, it is beautiful. The Bulova logo is very simple with the Accu ~ Swiss right underneath. There is red ~ in between Accu and Swiss. There are four red minute markers at 0, 15, 30 & 45. The chapter ring is a highlight, with the second hand almost touching it as it sweeps around. All the our markers also simulate a Bulova tuning fork. I believe that in the Citizen signature line they call them tank minute markers, but the ones on the Accu ~ Swiss are more elegant and refined. The date is at the six o'clock position. With the word AUTOMATIC in capital letters. The Lume is ok, not great nor will it last through the night. The hour and minute hands have luminosity. And each hour marker has lume. The crown is very, very simple, almost unappealing. It is signed but it is not a screw down crown. The water resistance is only 30 meters. There are some crown guards, which I appreciate very much! The crown is small making the winding difficult, I thought my watch was broken, because it felt like I could not wind the watch, so now I put it up to my ear as I wind to make sure I'm accomplishing the task. The movement is an ETA 2824-2 or a Sellita S200, 25 jewels, automatic, self winding, hacking and hand woundable. You get either or. The rotor is not noisy at all. You can't hear it winding the watch. Since it is a 28K bph the sweep of the second hand is smooth, and since the second hand is so slender, it actually looks smoooooother than it really is. I love that about this watch. The strap is ok, it is blue, with blue stitching on top and white underneath. The butterfly buckle its signed with the Bulova tuning fork. Verdict: Bulova can be a extreme good value if you buy at the right price. At under $200.00 I feel that I got a lot of watch for the money . The watch feels made of good quality, although not at the quality of my Squale 30 atmos ($710 USD), considering that the MSRP is $1195.00 USD for the Accu ~ Swiss. The dial and domed Saphire crystal are just gorgeous! Of course I wish it had a screw down crown, but again it is not a diver. I think you would enjoy it very much! Heck you couldn't buy the ETA 2824-2 alone for $200 USD, that by itself represents a good value. (or the Sellita S200) I have. 6 3/4 inch wrist and it fits perfectly. Would I buy it again? Definitely yes! This is the watch for a suit IMHO. For anyone considering this watch, it is worth every penny! Best regards, Read full review

Very Nice Watch. Seems to continue running, if you wear it most of the day. The clasp is a little difficult to operate, but you can get use to it. Very happy with purchase. Would purchase another one.
