SRAM gear is great!
I used to be a shimano guy but SRAM bought enough good bike part companies that their stuff is really great. Especially the XX1 parts I race on. Really great stuff.

No real alternative
This did what I required and the tube and fittings are good but it is really rather too expensive, if I could have found an alternative I would have used it. The rubber cover for the compression fitting at the lever end was not as good a fit as the original and leaves a small gap.
