Straight(ish) swap for a twenty year old existing unit.
It was a reasonably straight swap for the twenty year old existing unit and could be changed without disturbing the cistern. However, there are a couple of points worth mentioning: 1. The top button fitting that sits above the actuation mechanism was not the same as my old unit (D1D) so I had to reuse the existing fitting, which was a simple job. It just unclips and slides off. Obviously the design of the push button fitting has changed over the years. 2. The bottom seal is not pre-fitted, but care is needed to make sure the three components go on in the correct order. I just referred to the existing unit. Hopefully this one will last another twenty years, despite the apparent flimsiness. Unreliable Flush Unit
Must admit I wouldn’t buy another cistern with this type of flush from Roca. It’s rather a cheap design but costs a lot to replace it; ok they sell a washer but it’s near impossible to remove it without breaking something, far easier to replace the whole unit. The upside is that at least you can still buy a replacement which is cheaper than replacing the whole toilet!Verified purchase: YesCondition: New

Replacement Dual Flush
These might be a bit more money, but the replacement is simple. something had broken on the float mechanism on my old one, so I did not need the bottom unit. so it was just a twist and push and the toilet was operational again. FABVerified purchase: YesCondition: New

Quick, easy fit

Poor flush
My previous Roca toilet system was 5 years old and the flush valve failed. Tried replacing washer but "tower" split due to very this design of "tower" base where it fits to cistern. Purchased correct D2D replacement ( Check carefully when ordering as 2 similar flush valves but with differing top connections) but flushing not up to previous standard. Easy to fit
Easy to replace, just a quarter turn twist. Only problem was it did`nt fix the continuous running despite all on line forums. The fault being the inlet valve not shutting off an allowing in too much water. This valve works well however and at least I have a spare.Verified purchase: YesCondition: New
