This weather display unit and wind speed sensor work great, were easy to install and give colorful easy to read measurements, The built in barometer shows barometric pressure trends and displays images to indicate weather forecast. I also purchased the outdoor temperature and humidity sensor for $20 which works great and provides additional trend information. I highly recommend both units.

The only problem with it is it drops the signal from the remote unit from time to time and has to be reset

We like this weather station, has all the features we would want. Only issue is the panel loses the signal from the outside unit occasionally.

I needed another atomic wall clock and this was about the right size, nice little upgrade, but since it has to be plugged in for the light to be on all the time I put it on top of a speaker, to hide the wire, as it is set up for a wall or desk. Loaded with features it's my clock, a thermometer indoor, outdoor, plus gives humidity, wind speed, and forecast. It runs fine on batteries but you have to push a button to get it to light up so it can be seen. The screen is difficult to see at some angles so placement is important. Placed horizontally at a 45 degree angle in the corner of the room makes it possible to see the numbers throughout the room when sitting or standing. Assembly was a snap and everything was up and running in five minutes. The channel needs to be set (read the instructions) else it will constantly move through the three channels. Once set it stays put and the information from the sensor unit no longer blanks out as it reads the unused channels.Read full review

I wanted a unit that measures outside temperature mostly but thought that wind would be an enhancement. Other reviewers commented on the fact that the temperature sensor and wind sensor are in the same outside unit and that it shouldn't be in direct sunlight or it will not read properly. I overcame this by mounting a shade (piece of aluminum flashing) beside the body without interfering with the wind that needs to strike the wind prop. This way having only one outside unit works best for me. I like the ability to plug the unit in with AC power and an adapter so that I don't have to worry about batteries for the in-house unit. The display is bright enough in the HI and Low brightness levels and can even be seen without being back-lit. I like the unit and would get another like it.
