The Greatest American Hero: The Complete Series is a comedy and comes in a nine-disc set, which was released by Mill Creek Entertainment on May 8, 2010. The Greatest American Hero: The Complete Series tells the story of an American English teacher (played by William Katt) who comes across a special alien suit with mysterious powers. The instruction manual for the suit disappears and the teacher as well as his group of friends, played by Connie Sellecca and Robert Cupp, must figure out the proper way to use the suit before chaos ensues and the aliens claim the town and the world. The nine-disc set of the comedy The Greatest American Hero: The Complete Series contains 43 episodes with over 600 minutes of show as well as bonus content including extras and outtakes which were not shown in the regular episodes as well as commentary from the director and each of the actors which give their insights on the show and the relationships which were forged.

Love this show!
I love this show! I grew up with it when I was 13-15. It's just a fun show and the constant squabbling between the liberal teacher (Katt) and the conservative FBI agent (Culp) is just magic, and Connie Sellecca adds her own spark as well, as "third-string utility backup". The chemistry between these 3 actors is wonderful, and is rarely seen in shows today. I myself have met William Katt in person twice (as I said, I'm a big fan of the show), and he is just as friendly and down-to-earth (no pun intended) as the character he plays in this show (Ralph Hinkley). The synopsis was a bit incorrect about this character - although Ralph does teach some English to his students, he is actually a Special Education teacher. In the Pilot episode he is thrust into a classroom full of hoodlums who cannot ... I love this show! I grew up with it when I was 13-15. They just don't make shows like this anymore, and the theme song is addictive - you can't help singing along. (It reached #2 on the Top 40 in 1981.) So order this show and enjoy! :)

The Greatest American Hero
If you grew up any time in the 80's then you probably saw this show. Maybe you only saw a couple of episodes and not the whole series. This series is worth the money, any age group will love this show. I remember sitting in the living room singing the theme song when it would start and laughing at the crazy antics. You will definitely get the most laughs for your money and the acting is really good. It will take you back to the fun times of the 80's shows. It rates along with great 80's shows like the A team, and Knight Rider, and Chips just to name a few. If you have never seen this show and would like to watch a show with your kids that isn't full of sex and violence, this one is great and I promise everyone will be singing the theme song by the second episode!!If you grew up any time in the 80's then you probably saw this show. im happy to have all episodes,not seing a title eppisode from other dvd?
