I know these are getting pricey, but these watches are worth it. I find the 6600 series to be a step above the 6900 series. The 6600 series is easy to read, very comfortable, and has a lot of history. I'm not sure how old mine is but I replaced the battery, bezel and strap and it's running like a champ. I'm still gonna do some more work to it but I see no reason it shouldn't last for years. As long as basic parts for the 6900 series are still around then maintaining a 6600 should be easy.

I love this watch! It's the same model I was issued in the Navy, and sadly was discontinued by Casio in 2010. Consequently there have been a lot of commercial/branding knock-offs and the original has become more and more rare to be able to obtain. I'm happy as hell I was able to locate this watch new and buy it for a reasonable price ($330)! I would've gladly paid 3x this. I'll wear it forever.

This model is difficult to find. Collectors love it because it’s easy to read and in geek’s world it’s a cult watch because it’s the one worn by Chris Kyle in the movie ‘American Sniper’

Anyone who wears G-shocks should have one of these in their collection! It wears very well - similar in fit to the DW-6900 and GW-6900. The EL light shows a red G in the background which is fun!
