    this solenoid was model and year specific which my motorcycle fell into the correct spec however the connector plug on the solenoid didn't match the cycle harness so I had to cut and solder the old solenoid connector on the new solenoid. shipping time was horrible. seller said "must have gotten lost" and sent a replacement. even if so, the replacement took a long time. good news is it worked after I modified it.
