The balls used for mounting don't have enough angular swivel movement to accommodate the bonnet at full height. An angle grinder is needed to make adequate clearance. Don't waste your time with cheap copies. They are the right length struts, just not made like Toyota's Supplier could not deliver as per the Ebay add. They arrived a week after advertised date and late.
