I used the scanner to digitise approx 1,000 - 35 mm colour slides and photos that I took back in 70's. 80's and 90's. A vast majority of slides were underwater shots. The resulting jpg file image quality exceeded my expectations as the originals were a bit sub-optimal. The instruction manual is a bit vague when it came to transferring the scan file to my P.C (Windows 10 O/S). The P.C powers the scanner via the USB lead that came with the scanner so batteries not required.... A big plus!
