    Works great, once installed

    Difficult to spread open in a tight location to install, but that's an installation difficulty, not a product problem. Once installed, the product is excellent and solves the excess play in the steering column caused by the deterioration of the original bushing, in my case 20 years old.

    Wish it had not broken in half, but should be ok. Wish I had taken pics.

    The installation requires being able to open the split and slide over the shaft. But, after greasing the inside and trying to slide it on the shaft it broke in half. I have used split bushings on other equipment, so I in stalled both pieces and tightened the collar around the bushing. It is holding the two halves together just fine and the slop in the steering is gone. The material that the bushing is made from should do a good job. By the way, other than the bushing breaking into two halves, it only took about 15 minutes to install. Thanks!

    Don't loose the bolts

    The product is made out of good ruber or niepreme I don't know which, but it is good stuff. I had to cut the other side to get it to go on the steering shaft. Outside of that every thing worked fine. I greased the stem shaft busing on the outside to make it work better. Nothing to do with the product but I lost the to bolts that held the stem shaft bushing on. My mustake but be careful in taking the stem shaft clamp loose and don't loose the bolts.
