Very realistic. Easy to build.
When I received it, the package was bent. There was a slight crease in one of the farmhouse sides as well as some other sheets. I was pretty concerned. When assembled however, the defects are completely unnoticeable! Using hot glue makes the job relatively easy. This project made me realize what a great glue hot glue is. The finish product is quite realistic! I would definitely consider buying more of these types of kits. I would recommend them to anyone who has some patience and enjoys building thing.When I received it, the package was bent. build it yourself and save $100!!
This is my first try at this type of building. It was easier than I thought! Of course, read instructions first, then think it through as to how you wish to build and re-enforce walls etc. Nothing to daunting. Take your time, I used a heavy duty type white glue, glue stick, black and brown markers for cut edges so white didn't show up, an exacto knife and a sheet of this artboard...that's about it. The rest is up to you and your patience level as this is built in stages over a couple days and not a night. It looks great when done and you van jazz it up with extras like brooms, shovels, wheelbarrows etc. A wood kit like this would be very expensive. I'm an old 64+ year old buzzard and if I can do it with bad eyes and shaky hands....well....anybody can!!!This is my first try at this type of building. It was easier than I thought! Affordable, effective look of realism
easily assembled and makes it affordable to build an effect diorama for any layout. I glued the building sides to thicker styrene plastic and it made for a more realistic look with thicker walls and roofline. The styrene also made it easier to weather the exterior for more realistic look.

Great Product if....
This product comes in three sheets with items you see. You need to cut them out and out them together. However, before I did that, I made a number of copies of them on "Card Stock" and made a few using card stock to get tit right. The "Card Stock" was 110 grade so it was heavy weight. The test ones came out good with some alterations. ALso you can pint out as many as you want. You can even make different sizes with some imagination. You can also use "Balsa Wood" to make you barn and other items even stronger. So this is well worth it and with some imagination you can make all kinds of things out of this product for a lot less than spending all kinds of money of ready made bills.This product comes in three sheets with items you see. Cardboard buildings are not for all train modelers . They are a lot of fun to build if you have the skills. I like them because they are more realistic and much cheaper than plastic buildings.
