Well I rarely use the cassette unless I'm stuck in a really boring place or a place with a pool where I know in advance the FM channels suck. There are still these places and listening to War and Piece laying by the pool in the Sun was a good place to kill a few hours and find out the easy way that War and Piece is a boring mundane novel and not worth actually reading. Kind of dozing off between drinks makes War and Piece better than no sound at all. The FM is great and I use it often, there are 10 presets I believe and it's handy to be able to flip between stations as boring commercials come on. It also has TV and AM band presets that I've never used. This is a well made and rugged device. I like it so well I have 3 but haven't been able to wear out the first one yet.

Needed the Walkman to play cassettes I needed to listen to (and found all my old Walkman's no longer worked). This device was perfect and also has a great radio AM/FM tuner. It's a bit clunky and bulky given today's miniaturization of things, but a solid device that works exactly as advertised.
