Seems like a good strong product so far
Only had it set up for a few days now, but I have my Jet band saw on it that weighs about 250 lbs and it handles it with no problems. Only issues I have with it were the instructions and the need to cut a couple pieces. The instructions were not the worst I have ever dealt with, but they were not easy either. Only one picture and it was hard to read or understand, so took a lot longer then it should have to put together and had to take some things apart and do over on 3 areas at least. I have to cut down the side supports to get to the 16" x 18" size I needed. I could have used the shorter side pieces but then they would not have fit all the way into the corner pieces and therefore would not be as strong. Only cut 1" off 2 of the longer side pieces, not a big deal. Biggest issue was the instructionsVerified purchase: YesCondition: New

Port-a-Mate ports my mate!
I bought the Port-a-Mate PM-2500 because I HATE my husband's recliner. Wait, what? Here's a new use for this GREAT product: This recliner is huge, it's heavy and impossible to move by myself. I'd like to vacuum under it and not throw my back out in the process. After seeing the Port--a-Mates my husband uses in his shop, I decided the 2500 would be a great help to ME as it is very heavy duty, extremely well made and up to the task. Sure enough, I pushed the chair over so I could conform the 2500 to the chair's base. I used some extra heavy duty zip ties to hold it in place while I pushed the chair back on it's "feet." Tah-Dah....it worked flawlessly! It only raised the chair a tiny, tiny bit and my husband didn't even notice. It is perfectly stable! Best of all, I can actually move the chair with him IN it with ease! The only "down" side is you can see the big (beautiful) casters behind the chair. Personally, I don't care.
