    Batteries are boring!

    Yes, batteries are boring, but we all need them from time to time, despite their characterless disposition. The batteries I bought are indeed, no exception, but they are good, though it has to be said, just as boring as any other batteries I have ever bought. These ones arrived (eventually), despite the pandemic, which seems to be used as an excuse for virtually everything not functioning properly these days. I popped them in my tiny, key-ring torch and hey presto....they ceased to be boring for all of 10 seconds! Then, they became merely functional, just like all their friends and relations in the battery world...lighting things up, making things go, ring, ping, squeak and buzz. Of course the tragedy of being a battery is that sooner or later, you die and you become a very polluting and ...

    Fairly satisfactory

    I needed four new batteries for my gadget, they work as expected. I can’t say whether they are good value or not but I had to have them as the essential gadget won’t take any other kind. I would have preferred a gadget that used an AAA battery as they are on sale everywhere. I had to send away for these LR44s and they took a week to arrive.

    Buy quality

    Yes you can buy cheap unbranded button cells. These are fine for some items but when you want a long lasting replacement battery, why not pay a little bit extra and get a guaranteed good quality product for not a lot of extra money. Or do you really enjoy programming your watch / bike speedo etc?

    A battery

    It's a battery, they all look the same and feel the same, it's when you put them in whatever you need to that you notice the difference.Having bought unknown brands before, I've found that it's a false economy. Duracell last longer and save money as you're buying with confidence in the brand and saving time know that they'll work.
