Nearly perfect, but not quite, sadly.
As good as this is, takes me back to my teens, then army days as I'd developed a passion for hunting with catapults and guns, the only thing I'd criticise is that the bit where you load your ammo/steel balls/stones or whatever is totally flat so it's really difficult then, trying keeping the ammo on that as you have to grasp it together tightly/manually, as you try to keep all the ammo together as you raise it up to take aim at the target, at which point lots of the steel balls/grit/stones or whatever, fall straight out of it and to the ground below you, so you have to start again, then again again, so many times! It really does need to have that bit altered to something that isn't completely flat, but which is much more cup-shaped on its sides, assuring you don't then lose the ammo as you raise it up to fire!Verified purchase: YesCondition: New

Not great
I bought this as a gift for cousins 12th birthday. The catapult came with about 10 free bbs, before we had finished shooting these the elastic had broken as well as the piece that holds the elastic in place. When i notified The supplier they quickly sent out replacement parts but these have already started to look damaged within 2 days and I suspect it will be once again unusable soon. Not perfect - but excellent value and easily upgraded with better bands.
It's not perfect and the first things to be replaced were the original bands & pouch - which was a simple task. If you have large wrists, then the folding brace on this device may prove to be a little uncomfortable - though it does fit smaller wrists quite happily. Great little piece of kit, took it to our local wooded park with my 11 year old son & had a good time aiming for a 1.5L empty bottle of water. We placed it on a wall about 20 metres away from us, just be mindful of that fact that the metal bb's will be flying behind your target if your not a crack shot & might end up licking someone! In our case we had a higher wall behind the wall which held the target, but my son did manage to send a few flying over ;-j First time i've owned something like this, good fun. Possibly old stock??
After only 11 days I had to replace the tube, as the initial one split, then 4 days later the plastic wrist guard split also, leaving the two metal supports unconnected. Presently using gaffer tape as a replacement, not ideal. Overall I can only presume that this is either old stock , or there is a fault in this area !? Excellent quality
I havent used a catapult since I was a child and oh wow, how technology has moved on! The wrist support provides much more accurate firing. The little ball beating that came with it are ok but 8 aren't of much use, so I ordered a separate pack of 50.
