And, like Bond, he's also habitually surrounded by beauteous babes. In OUR MAN FLINT, a deranged trio of scientists has devised a way to rule the world by manipulating the Earth's climate: they can send icebergs crashing into the Mediterranean or create volcanic eruptions on cue. Flint is hired by Z.O.W.I.E. (The Zonal Organization for World Intelligence and Espionage) to use his powers of deduction, destruction, and, most of all, seduction to save the day. Decades later, the FLINT films would be referenced in yet another spy spoof series, AUSTIN POWERS.IN LIKE FLINT: IN LIKE FLINT, a sequel to the popular OUR MAN FLINT, features James Coburn in a reprise of his role as the dashing title character. In this amusing parody of spy films, the American president has been replaced by an actor ("An actor? As president?"), and a group of beautiful and powerful renegade women, led by the lovely Helena (Hanna Landy), plot to take over the world. They wish to create a race of female soldiers by brainwashing women with a device planted inside beauty salon hair dryers. Flint, the super secret agent and supreme ladies' man, really has his hands full trying to foil their plot. (Austin Powers would be proud.)Also included is the made-for-TV film, OUR MAN FLINT: DEAD ON TARGET.

    Two good shows and one bummer

    The original movie, Our Man Flint, was quite good. The second one, not as good, but still okay. The bonus movie of the TV pilot was terrible. No wonder it didn't sell. The actor wasn't Flint at all, and there was too much time wasted on cars on the freeway, sweeping background scenery, and the actors tended to mumble at times. At least the two James Coburn shows were worth the money.

    This is truly a great collection and brings back memories of the good ol days back then..I just wish they would have put it on Blu ray.. but nevertheless it is a great and what about kind connection and I highly recommend it before they are all gone because they are already out of print

    Gotta love this stuff. I discovered Flint long before Austin Powers did.

    Austin Powers got a lot of their ideas from the Flint movies. I’m a big fan of James Coburn I’m also a big fan of that spy genre including Matt Helm and the Silencers.. love the stuff wish there were more of them made
