As described and arrived quickly. Works fine, although the firmware it comes with auto spins down the hard disks after about 10 mins. It uses the JMS578 chip, so you can change the firmware to others available on the internet to fix this. Also worth noting that this adaptor does not solely rely on the USB port for 5v power. If 12v supply is plugged in, it will convert the 12v to 5v internally, and most of the 5v power will be drawn from that. Ideal for devices with limited USB output power.
