    The battery seems to work on initial startup. I wish they would include install directions. There were clear plastic covers over the 4 cells and I couldn’t get them off. Not sure if they are supposed to come off but I feel like they should.

    Installing these myself sure saved a ton of money over going to an expert to do it. It'l like giving my old, trusty computer a second life (ok actually a third life.) The hardest part was getting the small, old screws out of the old case, but the provided screwdrivers worked well.

    Excellent product

    This product worked as expected, before install the old battery did not work for more than a 5 minutes. After install this item in a MacBook Air 2016, the Mac worked as new. In addition too, it came with the right tools to replace it

    Don't expect the same run time as original battery

    After market batteries for whatever reason, are not anything like the one that came with Mac when new. My original battery was good for 10 plus hours. This aftermarket battery as of this writing reads 3:18. I wish someone sold an after market battery that was like the original.
