I bought this item as I thought it would allow me to scan my old 126 and 127 film negatives from the 1970s. It will scan 127 film but only mounted slides in 126 size. That was a disappointment as I still need a way to scan my 126 films. I also have some critiques of how the scanner operates. 1) 127 film is not held securely by the mounting frame - a problem when it is bowed 2) the scanning and saving procedure is clunky but OK with practice 3) quality of the scans is moderate but acceptable
