Just in the first 8 pages of this book I was working out my fingers and my mind. Applying every exercise as they recommend has expanded my vocabulary of the fret board and I have been playing for 24 years. Extraordinary Material!!! But you have to put in the work.

Quality Jazz Guitar Study
This book offers an extensive look at major, minor and modal scale fingerings on guitar. The author, through examples of "patterns", shows the relationship of scales to essential jazz 4 and 5 part harmony, but does not show guitar chord fingerings per se. A number system, AND NOT TAB, is used to indicate strings and fingers.
