If like me, you're bored of the mass of celebrity exercise dvd's then this is for you! Dance floor workout is a different approach to getting fit. The dvd comprises of 22 music videos, ranging from Sugababes, Armand Van Helden to Sister Sledge. Each music video has it's own dance routine to follow. An energetic and chirpy Fluer Murray guides you through the routines step by step, admittedly she is fast but goes over the steps in clear way that you find it easy to follow. Once you've learnt the routine you get to do it against the music video. You can pick and choose the music videos you fancy doing. There's a warm up section, cool down and even a section to learn the basic moves. The dance routines are really good, picture energetic pussy-cat-doll esque moves to get an idea! I dont think ... The premise of this dvd is great, as is the sound track, however this dance floor has many flaws. The first major issue with this dvd is navigation. I had attempted in vain 3 'routines' before finding the step by step routine guide. The routines themselves are overly repetitive and likely to cause dizzyness and nausia. In addition to this the split screen, even in the step by step guide makes it very difficult to focus. It is of extreme importance that you focus on what is going on (difficult to do when you are supposed to be holding you head upside down!) as the instructor gives too few verbal instructions as to the repetitions of a particular move. Its ok, it gives you good instructions & being a DVD I spose you can replay it until you get the hang of it. Haven't given it a proper go yet but the bit Ive tried Im quite pleased. Basically, a dance in your house rather than out in a club. It gives you the privacy of looking like an idiot until you can get out there & show everybody your new body & moves.

Found this DVD really good as you don't have to bother going to a fitness class, you can do it in your own home and crash out on the sofa when finished! The steps are easy enough to follow -once you've got the hang of it and the routine is repeated then throughout the song. Really enjoyed different eras of music, cheaper than going to a nightclub even if its a bit lonely. not bad could be better
as a fitness freak and own loads of exercise dvds i brought this to add to my collection and for something different i wished i hadn't bothered, it's ok if you like dancing, but i found it a bit tedious and not much sweating going on but that could be just me, if your a beginner i would say a give it a go if your used to exercise and reasonably fit i would give it a wide berth.
